Faith Based Therapy

I truly believe in the power of integrating spirituality into the healing process. I am dedicated to respecting your beliefs, ensuring that we don’t try to change them but rather honor and embrace them as part of the therapeutic experience. I prioritize your beliefs, utilizing them as essential tools to guide you through various challenges. I am a believer of a higher power based in Christianity and willing to learn about your beliefs. If you’d like we could incorporate prayer and scripture to explore your unique worldviews. Together, we can explore and understand your experiences in a way that resonates with your faith and spirituality.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

This exciting and transformative approach empowers individuals to master vital problem-solving skills to conquer life's challenges! Clients gain the tools to identify and challenge those pesky negative or maladaptive thoughts, allowing them to respond with confidence to even the toughest situations. In this modality, individuals discover how their perceptions shape their feelings and learn to reframe negative thoughts into positive, realistic, and logical statements. You can develop practical self-help strategies that will set you on a path to greater well-being and happiness!

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

As a therapist committed to culturally sensitive care, I strive to create an environment where individuals feel understood and respected, regardless of their background. This approach involves cultural awareness, where I appreciate both the differences and similarities between cultures. I lean into cultural humility, which prompts me to acknowledge my own limitations and biases. This allows my curiosity to explore with my clients, fostering empathy and emotional understanding that truly supports their unique experiences.

Solution Focused Therapy

I work with clients to discover practical solutions to their unique challenges. Together, we focus on what you can do rather than what you can't, empowering you to tap into your inherent strengths and resources. Through this collaborative process, we highlight your existing skills and strategies, creating a clear vision of the future you desire.

Trauma Informed Therapy

My mission is to foster resilience and elevate overall well-being as we confidently embark on the recovery journey together. Trauma-informed care is an approach that encompasses more than the treatment of specific trauma symptoms. It acknowledges the profound impact trauma can have on an individual's life, influencing relationships, work, and daily functioning. I aim to cultivate a safe and supportive environment that empowers individuals to heal.
