I am Katherine Orellana-Lopez (she/her), LMFT and founder of Blooming Hearts Therapy. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist based in Santa Clarita, CA and offer virtual therapy throughout the state of California. With over 10 years of experience in the field of therapy, I am dedicated to creating a warm and inviting space for my clients. Together, we can navigate your journey toward healing and growth in a supportive environment. Lastly, I am an active ally in service of our communities of color, gender, sexuality and belief. I feel privileged to have a diversity-positive practice.

I believe that one of the most important parts of the therapy journey is the solid connection between therapist and client. Within this relationship, clients learn healthy relationship behaviors and how to be reflective about their emotions. I care about my clients and always listen with compassion and empower their strengths.

Besides being a therapist, I like to spend my time with my family, reading, listening to audio books, and having random dance parties.
